LOOK AT THE BOOK
1. Read Matthew 14:22-33
2. This story tales place right after the feeding of the 5000. Why do you think Jesus decided to separate himself from the crowd the disciples to take time alone to pray?
3. What thoughts do you suppose were going through the disciple’s minds when they saw him walking on the water?
4. How did they try to explain the appearance of someone walking on water?
5. How did Jesus try to calm their fears?
6. What did Peter do? Why?
7. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the craziest), how crazy would you say Peter was for getting out of the boat?
8. Why did Peter sink? (Peter had enough faith to get out of the boat, but then he got distracted took his eyes off Jesus)
