Q: What are some promises people make to God?
Q: What helps people keep their promises to God?
Q: Why is it important for us to make promises to God? (One reason, it acknowledges God is active in our lives. It can also give us a chance to “start over” or get a “do over” when they mess up, like on the playground)
LOOK AT THE BOOK
1. Read Scripture (see above)

2. Has God kept his promises to us?
3. Say, “ Let’s take 1 minute of silence to think and pray about what Vow we will make to God for this new year. You will have a chance to write it down as a reminder.”
